Both my babes are sleeping and suffering from a tummy bug. As I care for them I am reminded of similar days from my childhood. I feel I am walking in my Mothers footsteps. Her careful ways imprinted on me. Little sips of water. Cold washers. Lemonade ice blocks. Gentle back rubs. We've postponed our camping adventure, but things may still be quiet around her for a few days.

Shop Update!

I have been happily and busily at work in the creation of these handmade beads. As a result there are several new colourful necklaces in the shop today. They make a fun addition to an outfit or a lovely gift. They also work beautifully as a feeding/teething necklace for little ones, as they are non-toxic, colourful, smooth and can handle the attention.

Shop re-open!

A messy jewellery bench is generally a busy jewellery bench. In quiet moments and nap times I've been able to pick up the tools again lately and it has felt very good indeed. 

Today I'm pleased to announce that I have re-opened my Big Cartel store with five pieces to begin with. Hooray! More finished pieces will be added as time allows. I will be focusing on having a few items consistently in the shop, like the 'Rick Rack' Ring and 'Away with the clouds' Earrings, as well as a few one of a kind pieces and some pieces in new materials.

'Into my arms' Ring

Whether you're curled up before the fire knitting a new project, or swinging your suitcase aboard the train to visit someone you love, your 'Into my arms' Ring will add warmth and zest to the moment.

The honey coloured Carnelian and simple rounded setting will never go out of style and will look just as sweet with cabled sweaters, as it will with Summer frocks and cork wedges.

This solid sterling silver and Carnelian ring was handmade by Christina Lowry. The silver has a smooth brushed finish. The rounded band is 2mm wide and the oval cabochon gemstone is 6x8mm in size, set in a full bezel setting.
