'Boardwalk Empire' Drop Earrings

I couldn't resist sneaking down to the bench to finish these earrings on day three after Oscar's birth, when all three children were asleep. I knew I wouldn't be able to stay away from the workshop for long. Particularly with the arrival of a parcel of beautiful Onyx cabochons and drops. Though I am on light duties, I swear.

These handsome earrings were inspired by the lavish lifestyles depicted in the period drama 'Boardwalk Empire', which is set in an era of wealth, style and corruption, during prohibition days in Atlanta City. Add drama to any outfit with these dangling darlings.

I couldn't wait to show you these. I finished them yesterday and I am so proud of them.

These earrings are something special indeed. Their classic style and gentle movement will draw attention to your delightful smile, whether on a lunch date, celebrating at a wedding, or letting your hair down on a night out. The floral motifs complement each other, while adding a unique touch.

Handmade by Christina Lowry from sterling and fine silver, these beautiful drop earrings feature a pair of cabochon cut Carnelian, and a pair of Onyx drops. A different flower motif has been saw pierced by hand on the reverse of each stone setting.
