In my mind todays post was to be the finished Black Apple softie.
I would have shared with you my softie success or failure.
It would have been artfully photographed.
There would not have been photographs of Cohen in hospital.
At dinner a well meaning relation offered a teaspoon or two of pudding to Cohen.
His lips swelled and the skin around his mouth went red and lumpy.
My heart raced.

He patiently had his temperature taken, heart monitored and breathing listened to. He rolled around on the hospital bed and grabbed at the cord running from his foot and waited. He was observed. His swelling and lumps all but went away. Letters were written to an Allergy Specialist.
His is allergic to egg.
