The rain held off long enough today for us to visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. We marveled at the Australian wildlife - kangaroos, emus, echindnas, koalas, lizards, crocodiles, turtles, birds, dingos, frogs and Tasmanian devils, and enjoyed wandering around the grounds.
It was fairly quiet which was lovely. We had expected it to be a lot busier, but there were sever storm warnings for South East Queensland today. Cohen had a wonderful time and was intrigued by everything. I got to feed some kangaroos and we stumbled upon some fossil digging in the playground.
I think it is definitely one place we will be taking Cohen over the years.
